Timeframe: 2025
Context: Lahoya is an award-winning interior design studio based in Amman, Jordan with 15+ years of experience and over 5,000 completed projects across the country.
Problem / Goal: The studio needed a modern public-facing website that showcased their design portfolio and product catalogue in a way that matched the premium quality of their work.
My Contribution
- Designed and built the full website from scratch
- Implemented a filterable design gallery (bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, closets, etc.) with smooth category switching
- Built a product catalogue with category filters and individual product pages
- Integrated a contact and studio visit section with location and business hours
- Ensured a responsive, mobile-first layout consistent with the brand's luxury aesthetic
Approach & Tech: Next.js, Tailwind CSS, custom image handling, responsive grid layouts, and static generation for fast page loads.
Outcome / Impact: Delivered a polished online presence that reflects the studio's high-end positioning and makes it easy for potential clients to explore designs and get in touch.
What I Learned:
- Designing for luxury brands requires restraint, whitespace and typography carry more weight than bold UI elements
- Large image-heavy galleries need careful performance tuning to stay fast
